The farm La Nueva Esperanza (which means new hope
in Spanish) is a Permaculture project. Our aim is
to create an ecologically sound sustainable system
of agriculture and living, where we live in harmony
with nature and each other as equals.
We have a wide variety of both native and exotic
species planted which include: Salak Salak (a fruit
from Asia), Bamboo (3 different types), Teak wood,
tea, mahagony, an array of citrus trees, pineapple,
mangosteens (from Asia), Milagro Fruit (from Africa),
clove, cinnamon, podocarpus, Sangre de Drago, and
reforestation trees.
